Andrew's First Haircut

Andrew's hair had been getting pretty long and shaggy, so we decided that it was time for his very first haircut. We had seen a haircut place tailored for kids, Snip Its, and decided to try it out. I was definitely more nervous than Andrew when we arrived and my fears were not eased by the hysterically-screaming baby getting his hair cut when we arrived. Andrew was pretty interested in everything there, especially the little kids playing in the waiting area. We waited about 15 minutes and then it was our turn. We strapped Andrew into the little seat and he started to fuss. Luckily the stylist suggested a bag of animal crackers, which was just enough to distract him. We had to break out the iPhone once to distract him, but overall he did a great job!! While she was cutting his hair she brushed it up into a "faux" hawk and he looked precious! It was over in about 10 minutes and he looks great! He looks like such a little boy and not very much like a little baby! Sad!! But even though he's growing up so fast, it's hard to be sad when he looks this cute!
